The chemistry and applications of flexible porous coordination polymers

Since the late 1990s, much progress has been made in field of chemistry flexible porous coordination polymers (PCPs). Various PCP architectures have recognized and several promising applications identified, e.g., areas selective gas capture separation, sensors, drug carriers. The crystalline frameworks PCPs can respond to various external stimuli then adjust themselves adapt new environments a tuneable fashion? behavior that is seldom observed other solids. Over past decade, following on from developments terms performance, how accurately build these with required functions become challenge. In this review, authors focus three aspects PCPs: 1) classifying systems different fashions pore opening, 2) governing factors internal structure conditions, 3) introducing, summarizing, flexibility- structure-dependent performance. goal present state-of-art application offer an outlook towards discovering designing further materials.
